Let Me Be There foi escrita por John Rostill e gravada por Olivia Newton-John em 1973. A sua gravação (MCA 40101) vendeu mais de um milhão de exemplares e ganhou um Grammy na categoria Melhor Canção Country por Voz Feminina. A canção chegou ao 6º lugar da tabela Hot 100 da Billboard.

Elvis cantou Let Me Be There com bastante frequência ao vivo em meados dos anos 70. A versão que foi primeiro lançada em disco foi em 20 de Março de 1974, de uma actuação dada em Memphis.
