In his lifetime, during the 23 years of career that Elvis had, he released a total of 105 singles, 32 EPs and 80 LPs. It is estimated that Elvis has 1.3 billion records all over the world, which is more than any other artist in the recording industry. Only in the United States, RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) has certified 152 different albums with gold, platinum and multi-platinum records. How many records Elvis has sold outside his country is still something to be found, but it is estimated that 40% of his total sales have been abroad.
Up until now, Elvis has had nothing less than 149 songs on the Pop Hot 100 Billboard chart, in the United States. Of these songs, 114 were at the Top 40, 40 of those were at the Top 10 and 18 of those reached the Nş 1 spot. His singles in Nş 1 spent a total of 80 weeks on that position. He also had more than 90 albums referred in the charts, with 10 of them reaching the Nş 1 spot. These statistics are only for the pop charts in the United States. Elvis was also a leading artist in the country, rhythm and blues and gospel fields in his country. And his success in other countries' charts was also substantial.
