This is a white outfit, lined with 3 inches wide embroidery
in silver, gold and green-colored leaves around the chest opening and the
collar. The green leaves and the beige flowers are on top of a thin
light-green stripe in the middle of the pattern. That's why the fans
nicknamed this suit to Thin Green Leaf, as the silver and gold
embroidery is hard to see in photos. The belt is made of weaved green
macramé with some darker and lighter colors made with plastic beads. As
usual, the belt is tied to the left side, hanging down to the knees. Elvis
wore this suit, which is also known as Green Sleek Suit, during Las
Vegas season from January till February 1970 several times, but there's only
one known photo from this season. As usual, on each side of the sleeves,
there are three white cuff buttons. In some photos from Houston February
27th at the 07:45 p.m. concert, one of these buttons was missing. This was
also probably the last time Elvis wore this suit. The green belt was used
later in the coming tours in the fall of 1970. This suit is today on display
at Graceland, the belt is probably in private hands.
