(Otis & Ivory Hunter)

Information:
Ain't That Loving You Baby was written by Clyde Otis and Joe Ivory Hunter and recorded by Eddie Riff. This song should not be confused with the 1956 Jimmy Reed song Ain't That Lovin' You Baby. Elvis recorded the song on June 10, 1958, at RCA's Nashville studios, but RCA didn't release it until 1964. That single had a 10-week stay on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, peaking at #16. Sales of over one million copies are claimed for Ain't That Loving You Baby.

Lyrics:

I could ride around the world in an old oxcart
And never let another girl thrill my heart

1.
Ain't that loving you,  baby? Ain't that loving you,  baby?
Ain't that loving you, baby? Ain't that loving you so?

I could meet a hundred girls and have loads of fun
My huggin' and my kissin' belong to just one

1. (repeat)

If you gave me nine lives like an alley cat
I'd give'em all to you and never take one back

1. (repeat)

I'm putting on my Sunday suit and I'm goin' downtown
But I'll be kissin' your lips before the sun goes down
1. (repeat)

Ain't that loving you, baby? Ain't that loving you so?
