Informação:
Bosom of Abraham foi escrita por William Johnson, George McFaddan e Ted Brooks, nos finais dos anos 40. Uma das primeiras gravações foi pelos Trumpeteers (Scorer 5031). Em 1954 os Jordanaires gravaram uma versão (Decca 29188).

Elvis gravou Bosom of Abraham em 9 ou 10 de junho de 1971, nos estúdios da RCA, em Nashville. O seu lançamento em single não entrou nas tabelas. Cerca de dez mil exemplares do disco foram lançados com o seguinte problema: ambos lados tocavam a 33 1/3 rpm em vez de 45 rpm. A RCA depressa reclamou os exemplares que ainda não tinham sido vendidos e corrigiu o problema. Em abril de 1972, uma atuação de bastidores de Bosom of Abraham com os Stamps foi mostrada no documentário Elvis On Tour.
