Informação:

Tony Bennett gravou Rags to Riches, que foi escrita por Richard Adler e Jerry Ross, em 1953. A sua versão (Columbia 40048) chegou ao primeiro lugar na tabela Best-Selling Singles da Billboard e vendeu mais de um milhão de exemplares. Billy Ward and the Dominoes gravaram Rags to Riches em 1954 pela etiqueta King (King 1280). O disco alcançou o 3º lugar na tabela de rhythm & blues. Uma versão pop pelos Sunny and the Sunglos (Tear Drop 3022) também entrou para as tabelas em 1963 (45º).

 

Elvis gravou Rags to Riches em 22 de Setembro de 1970, nos estúdios da RCA em Hollywood. Mais tarde teve de gravar de novo a palavra kiss, pois tinha ficado com fraca qualidade na gravação original. O lançamento em single chegou ao 45º lugar na tabela Hot 100 da Billboard, permanecendo na tabela durante cinco semanas. Tem-se dito que Elvis gravou Rags to Riches na Sun Records em 1954 ou 1955, mas essa informação nunca se confirmou até hoje.
