Informação:

Kal Mann e Bernie Lowe compuseram Teddy Bear para Elvis devido ao seu carinho por ursos de peluche. A canção foi gravada em 24 de janeiro de 1957 no Radio Recorders. Elvis cantou Teddy Bear no seu segundo filme, Loving You e durante o seu especial televisivo para a CBS de 1977, Elvis in Concert. O título completo da canção é (Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear. O lançamento em single de Elvis sucedeu Love Letters in the Sand de Pat Boone no primeiro lugar da tabela Top 100 da Billboard em julho de 1957. Depois de uma permanência de 7 semanas no topo, foi substituída por Tammy, de Debbie Reynolds. A permanência total na tabela foi de 24 semanas. Teddy Bear também foi número um (durante uma semana) na tabela Country Best-Seller e número um (durante uma semana) na tabela de rhythm & blues. Foi uma das únicas três canções de Elvis a chegar ao primeiro lugar de todas as tabelas da Billboard (as outras duas foram Don't Be Cruel e Jailhouse Rock). As vendas facilmente excederam o milhão de exemplares. Em 1978, Teddy Bear foi relançada, mas não entrou para as tabelas, se bem que por pouco, ficando no 105º lugar durante duas semanas. Teddy Bear / Loving You foi o primeiro single a ser lançado pela RCA (RCA 1013) na Grã-Bretanha (julho de 1957).
