Wear My Ring Around Your Neck entrou para o Top 100 da Billboard para a 7ª posição em Abril de 1958 - a entrada mais alta de qualquer um dos singles de Presley. Eventualmente chegaria ao 3º lugar da tabela com uma permanência de 15 semanas. All I Have to Do is Dream, dos Everly Brothers, e Witch Doctor, de David Seville, é que impediram que Wear My Ring Around Your Neck chegasse à primeira posição. A canção também chegou ao 3º lugar na tabela Country Best-Seller e ao 7º lugar na tabela de rhythm & blues. Escrita por Bert Carroll e Russell Moody, Wear My Ring Around Your Neck foi gravada por Elvis em 1 de Fevereiro de 1958, no Radio Recorders. O take 22 foi o escolhido pela RCA para lançamento. Encomendas antecipadas pelo disco excederam o milhão de exemplares. A estrela de rock, Bruce Springsteen, costumava terminar os seus concertos com Wear My Ring Around Your Neck.
