Se bem que Elvis e Vera Matson sejam creditados como compositores, We're Gonna Move, na realidade, foi escrita pelo marido de Matson, Ken Darby. Elvis gravou a canção no Radio Recorders em 2 de agosto ou em 24 de setembro de 1956. O apoio vocal foi disponibilizado por Chuck Prescott, John Dodson, Red Robinson e outros. O guitarrista foi Vita Mumolo.
