Information: All seven songs from Elvis's second film, Loving You, were on side one of this LP. Side two consisted of five non-movie songs that were recorded in January and February 1957 at Radio Recorders. The Loving You front cover was originally released with no song titles. Later pressings read, "Loving You, (Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear, Mean Woman Blues, and others". The RIAA certified Loving You as a Gold Record on April 9, 1968. Loving You first entered Billboard's top LP's chart at #11. The second week it was number one, remaining in the top spot for 10 straight weeks. This was the quickest rise to number one of any Elvis LP. The album remained on the chart for 29 weeks. |
