We had just finished one initiative
(our "Elvis & Friends 2017"), when we have received a phone call
from Lisbon's International Fair, asking us if we'd like to be
present during next Motoshow, that would happen between 05
and 09/04/2017. Of course we said yes and it was lots of work in
order to have everything ready in due time, since we just had 5 days
to organize everything!
Therefore, we were present with our
own stand, by Motoclasse and Elvis 100% (in Multiusos
Pavillion), in which we had several replicas of the model Honda
C110 in exhibition (which Elvis introduced in his movie Viva Las
Vegas) and also promotional material of the fan club, under the
theme "40 Years Missing You". Thousands of people visited the
fair during its 5 days of exhibition, including some famous faces,
like the one we can see below (actor José Fidalgo, who wanted
to pose for a picture that he posted on his Facebook page).
To entertain the fair - and since
Elvis is, essentially, music - we had two live performances by the
Elvis tribute artist, António Carlos Coimbra, on 8 April, at
Motoclube de Mafra's stand (in one of the main pavillions,
the number 3). Everyone who contacted us before hand, went inside
the fair with free invitations and really enjoyed what they have
seen and heard.
It was another good experience, at
FIL, whom we thank very much for the invitation!
