Information:
Elvis recorded My Wish Came True on September 6, 1957, at Radio Recorders. Althouth he attempted the song on two other occasions (January 23, 1958, and February 1, 1958), it was take #28 from that first session that was released. Elvis's single release of My Wish Came True had an 11-week stay on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, reaching a high of #12. It peaked at #15 on the rhythm & blues chart. My Wish Came True was written by Ivory Joe Hunter. In 1971 he recorded his song for inclusion on the LP The Return of Ivory Joe Hunter (Epic E-30348).
