Today Tomorrow and Forever
Information: Elvis sang Today Tomorrow and Forever in his 1964 film Viva Las Vegas. He recorded the song on July 11, 1963, at Radio Recorders. Five versions were recorded: the first version (master, take #6) has never been released. The second (master, take #4) was released by RCA on record. A third version (master, take #4) was used in the film, but has been released on bootlegs only until 2003. The other two (takes 1 and 2), were recorded in a duet with Ann-Margret and have only seen the light of day in the box set Today Tomorrow and Forever in 2002 and in the Follow That Dream release in 2003, Viva Las Vegas. Today Tomorrow and Forever was written by Bill Giant, Bernie Baum and Florence Kaye based on Liebestraume, Franz Liszt's 1850 composition.
