Informação:
Faded Love
foi escrita pelos irmãos Bob and John Wills em 1950 e gravada por Bob Wills
and His Texas Playboys nesse mesmo ano.
No início de
1962, Leon McAuliff teve um êxito de country Nº 22 com Faded Love (Cimarron
4057), e a gravação de Patsy Cline para a Decca Records (Decca 31522) subiu
a tabela pouco depois da sua morte em 1963, chegando à 17ª posição.
Elvis gravou
Faded Love em 7 de junho de 1960, nos estúdios da RCA, em Nashville. O
lançamento original em álbum foi uma versão editada. Uma mistura alternativa
surgiu no álbum da RCA From Elvis With Love. Em 15 de outubro de
1980, Felton Jarvis gravou uma nova faixa instrumental de Faded Love no
Youn’un Sound, em Nashville. O novo lançamento em single não entrou para as
tabelas.
