Informação:
Durante a sessão Million-Dollar-Quartet de 4 de Dezembro de 1956, Elvis comentou que Faron Young tinha escrito Is It So Strange para ele. Mas devido ao facto de Elvis querer metade dos direitos de autor, Young gravou a canção ele mesmo. Elvis cantou Is It So Strange para Jerry Lee Lewis e Carl Perkins durante a sessão Million-Dollar-Quartet.

Em 19 de Janeiro de 1957, Elvis finalmente lá gravou a canção no Radio Recorders. O take 12 foi o escolhido para ser lançado pela RCA.
