Information: Elvis sang Bossa Nova Baby in his 1963 film Fun In Acapulco. The recording session took place on January 22, 1963, at Radio Recorders. Elvis's single release had a 10-week stay on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, reaching #8. On the rhythm & blues chart, Bossa Nova Baby peaked at #20. It was the last Elvis single to appear on the rhythm & blues chart. Bossa Nova Baby became a million-seller and is one of only two bossa nova records to make the charts. The other was Eydie Gorme's Blame It On The Bossa Nova (Columbia 42661), which reached #7 on the Hot 100 chart in 1963. Lyrics: I said, “Take it easy, baby
