(Tepper / Bennett)

Information:
Elvis sang Mexico in his 1963 film, Fun in Acapulco, in a duet with Larry Domasin. The film version had a different background and dialogue that wasn’t included in the version of the record. Mexico was recorded on January 22, 1963, at Radio Recorders. Sid Tepper and Roy C. Bennett are the composers.

Lyrics:

Mexico, Mexico
They've got muchas (many) muchachas (girls), amigo (friend)
Señoritas, latin features, never saw such adorable creatures
It's so nice here, oh what sites here, lots to do the nights here
We live it up and love it up, amigo (friend)
Life begins when you're in Mexico

You never order water when you order south of the border
One tequilla makes you feel in to kiss a lovely señorita (lady)
You do the samba, la bamba

Then you'll shout olé and caramba
I'll go where you go, mi amigo (my friend)
Life begins when you're in Mexico

Mexico, Mexico
They've got muchas (many) muchachas (girls), amigo (friend)
We live it up and love it up amigo (friend)
Life begins when you're in Mexico
