Information:
Elvis recorded Lonely Man on November 7, 1960, for his film Wild in the Country, but it was cut from the final print. Two versions of the song were recorded: one for record release and a solo version. Lonely Man, which was written by Bennie Benjamin and Sol Marcus, reached #32 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart during its five-week stay on the chart.
