Information:
Eddie Rabbitt and Dick Heard wrote Kentucky Rain for Elvis in 1969. It was recorded at the American Sound Studios in Memphis on February 19, 1969, with Ronnie Milsap providing vocal harmony. The single release in 1970 reached #16 on the Hot 100 chart during its nine-week-stay and at #31 on the country chart. Sales of Kentucky Rain exceeded one million copies.
