(Wayne / Silver)

Information:

Elvis briefly sang What's She Really Like in his 1960 film G.I. Blues, with no instrumental accompaniment while in the shower. The song lasted just 18 seconds. Written by Sid Wayne and Abner Silver, What's She Really Like was recorded by Elvis on April 28, 1960, at RCA's Hollywood studios. The full-length version, with instrumental accompaniment, appeared on the LP G.I. Blues.

Lyrics:

What's she really like, the girl that you see me with

What's she really like, the one I’m so dreamy with
Well, let me tell you she's wonderful
She's marvellous and she's mine

Talk about her lips, her lips are so thrillable
Can't describe her kiss in words of one syllable
She's even more than adorable
And what's moreable she's all mine

1. You're asking if she loves me

Well, you don't know the half
You're wondering if she'll leave me
Ha, ha, ha, don't make me laugh

2. What's she really like, the girl I go on about
What's she really like, the one I’m so gone about
All I can say is she's wonderful
She's marvellous and she's mine

1. 2. (repeat)

Adorable and she's mine

She's marvellous and she's mine

Wonderful and she's mine
